Raves for CC's "Hallelujah" Show
Los Angeles-area critics delivered unanimous rave reviews for Charmaine's special Easter concert, "Hallelujah: A Celebration of Rebirth." In Pinoy in America, Lorenzo Paran wrote, "A good concert, they say, is not so much a show as it is an experience. The audience at Charmaine Clamor's concert on Easter Sunday, got just that as the jazz singer took the stage for 'Hallelujah: A Celebration of Rebirth and Renewal.' That title says it all. Clamor treated the audience with songs that paid homage to love, positivity, healing and renewal." Don Heckman, longtime LA TIMES critic writing in IRoM, declared, "One could not have asked for a broader, more engaging set of songs. She delivered them with stunning effectiveness, balancing the lush timbres of her voice with the dramatic gestures and gripping expressiveness of a born musical story-teller."
